The Bridgetown International Art Festival (TBIAF) is a multi-disciplinary event in Barbados designed to showcase the best in emerging and seasoned talents in the arts from across the world, every year in March. A corollary to the artistic presentations is the support of the Barbados Community College through its arts programme. Students in the Arts and Entertainment Management degree programme work in various capacities throughout the event. As co-producers, stage managers and assistants, and event planners, they gain invaluable experience and practical application in the course of their studies. This remains a component of the festival production. The festival has to date received applications from Boston, the Caribbean, Australia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Germany, Mexico, New York, Sierra Leone, Senegal, South Africa, Sweden, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
