Culture&Arts for Love&Living (CALL Barbados), a leading NGO arts agency dedicated to developing a robust arts and entertainment sector, is thrilled to announce the receipt of a grant from First Citizens to support its new program designed to train young arts and entertainment managers.

This pioneering initiative aims to equip emerging professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of the arts and entertainment industry. Through a hands-on workshop led by industry experts, the young participants will gain valuable insights into management, marketing, and event planning.

“The future of the arts depends on nurturing the next generation of leaders,” said Director of CALL Barbados, Andrea King. “This grant allows us to provide essential training that will empower young people who will eventually become the policy shapers and arts managers in the next decade to drive creativity and economic growth in our sector. The support from First Citizens underscores their commitment to community development and the arts. Investing in young talent ensures a vibrant cultural landscape for years to come.”

The programme will be delivered during the 2025 edition of The Bridgetown International Arts Festival (TBIAF), in early March.
